Scope

Casino Criollo is a card game without betting, stakes or cash-out prizes. The app contains no ads, advertising tracking or analytics SDKs. We operate no game or analytics server and provide no cloud synchronization of our own. Online matches and purchases use Apple services.

Profile, photo and statistics

Your chosen display name, a random profile identifier, avatar selection, profile creation and last-played dates, and game results are stored on your device. A nickname is sufficient. History includes dates, game identifiers, participants’ display names and results. It shows up to 100 completed matches; overall statistics, opponent records and identifiers of previously recorded matches remain until you reset statistics. These identifiers prevent results from being recorded twice. Language and other app preferences also stay local.

The app encrypts profile and statistics records and checks their integrity; keys are stored in the iOS Keychain. An optional profile photo is stored as a reduced-size JPEG in the app directory with iOS file protection. The app sends this photo neither to other players nor to a server of our own.

Multiplayer and Apple Game Center

Local games use MultipeerConnectivity, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, the local network and Bonjour. Your display name and room details become visible. Connected participants exchange player identifiers, names, actions and necessary game data. The host device runs the game and knows all hands; other players receive their own hand and the public state. Participants may keep display names and results in their local histories.

Apple Game Center handles online sign-in, invitations and matchmaking. The app uses Game Center identifiers and display names; Apple also processes the connection and account data its services require under its own privacy terms. The app may show a Game Center sign-in dialog. Single-player and local play need no Game Center account. Apple provides settings for visibility and friends.

Five free online matches you start

On this device, you can start five online matches for free once, with no expiry date. The app stores up to five random game identifiers in a separate iOS Keychain entry. They determine the used allowance and prevent the same match from being counted twice. The entry contains no names, photos, payment details or Game Center identifier. It is not sent to us, synchronized with iCloud or transferred to other devices. Joining an invitation and playing locally do not use the allowance.

Editing your profile or resetting statistics does not reset the allowance. The app provides no deletion control for this entry. Deleting and reinstalling the app does not reliably reset it because Keychain data may remain. The entry persists for as long as the operating system retains it for this app on the device. Another device may have its own allowance.

One-time purchase and optional support

A non-consumable one-time purchase unlocks unlimited starts of your own online matches and all statistics. You may also support development with optional, repeatable in-app purchases. These contributions provide no additional features, free matches or gameplay advantages. There is no subscription.

Apple handles payments. The app processes StoreKit transactions and entitlements on the device to verify purchases and restore the permanent unlock. We receive no payment card numbers or bank details. The app maintains no lasting contribution history of its own; Apple’s purchase history is separate. Contributions are not a restorable unlock. Your allowance and local game statistics are separate from purchase status.

Permissions and choices

Local network permission supports nearby multiplayer. Camera and photo selection are optional and used only for your profile picture; an avatar is an alternative. The app does not need contacts, location or microphone access. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. You are not obliged to provide online connection data, but the relevant online feature cannot work without it.

Retention, backups and deletion

You can change your profile name, remove its photo, and reset statistics including history and opponent records in Statistics. In-progress games are not saved for resumption. Deleting the app removes its data directory. It does not automatically remove existing device backups, separate Keychain entries or Apple purchase and Game Center data. Copies on other players’ devices are also outside your control through this app.

Depending on system settings, app data may be included in device backups. Profile and statistics encryption keys support suitable encrypted backups. The device-bound allowance entry does not transfer to another device. Backup management and retention depend on your system settings and Apple’s terms.

Purposes and legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we process data necessary for your requested game, local profile, free-match allowance and purchase verification to provide those services (Article 6(1)(b)). Security checks and prevention of duplicate records serve our legitimate interest in reliable and fair operation (Article 6(1)(f)). Optional use of a profile photo is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it for the future, including by removing the photo. There is no automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects and no profiling for advertising.

Contact, recipients and international processing

When you contact us, we process your sender address, message and voluntary attachments to handle your request. The legal basis for service-related requests is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other requests it is our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Support mailbox at ALL-INKL.COM

Our main contact for support and privacy is support@casinocriollo.de. ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany, hosts this mailbox. Under our data processing agreement, the provider processes sender and recipient addresses, messages, attachments and technical delivery data to operate the mailbox. The mailbox is stored in Germany. No automatic forwarding to Gmail is configured.

Previous Gmail support address

Older app versions may still list casinocriollo@gmail.com. Messages sent there are processed using Gmail. Please use support@casinocriollo.de for new requests where possible. Requests already sent to the old mailbox continue to be handled for the purposes and under the deletion criteria described here.

The support mailbox casinocriollo@gmail.com uses Gmail. Google processes sender and recipient addresses, messages, attachments and technical delivery data. Google Ireland Limited provides the service for users in the European Economic Area. Google describes its own processing in the Google Privacy Policy.

Processing outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, is possible. Google identifies Google LLC’s EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification and, where required, standard contractual clauses as transfer mechanisms. Email is voluntary; without a reply address we may be unable to answer your request. You can also contact us by post. Messages are not used for advertising.

Support messages are retained according to whether the request has been resolved and whether the message is still needed to meet a statutory retention obligation or establish, exercise or defend specific legal claims. When none of these reasons applies, the message and any attachments no longer needed are deleted.

Connected players receive game data. Apple processes data for its services under its own responsibility. See Apple’s linked privacy notices for its recipients and international processing. We do not transmit local profiles, photos, statistics or allowance records to a server of our own.

Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future. You may complain to a data protection authority, particularly where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred.

Contact the controller named above to exercise these rights. We cannot remotely access or erase records held only on your device. For data Apple processes under its own responsibility, Apple also provides privacy and account management tools.

Objection and withdrawal of consent

Where processing is based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object for reasons relating to your particular situation. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Use the controller’s contact details to exercise these rights.

Access logging and visitor statistics are disabled for our webspace in the hosting control panel. This does not mean that no connection data is processed when a page is requested; in particular, the IP address is needed to deliver the page.

When you request a page, the hosting provider processes the connection and request data transmitted for technical purposes, in particular the IP address, requested page and information sent by the browser, to deliver the website and operate it securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an available and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Pages cannot be delivered without the technically necessary connection data.

A data processing agreement with ALL-INKL.COM governs processing for the operation of our webspace. The provider states that hosting data is stored in Germany. Its privacy notice linked above describes processing carried out under its own responsibility.

Retention: Connection data needed to deliver a page is processed to handle the request. Our webspace does not create persistent access logs or visitor statistics. If the host additionally processes data to prevent or investigate specific security incidents, retention depends on the period necessary for those purposes and any statutory obligations. The deletion setting for disabled webspace logs does not establish the retention period of the provider’s internal security records.

These pages set no cookies and use no analytics tools, advertising trackers, remotely loaded fonts or embedded third-party services. External links and email links are opened only when clicked. The privacy notices of the destinations apply to processing there.
